Synopsis:
Symphonie Cinétique – The Poetry of Motion is a kinetic composition that exploits the poetic synergy of music and mechanical motion in a space. It was conceived in an intense collaboration between Icelandic musician Ólafur Arnalds and Joachim Sauter/ART+COM; shown July 2013 at MADE, Berlin.
The exhibition project focuses mainly on the correlation and interaction of three elements: reflection, sound and movement. Symphonie Cinétique narratively interrelates the three elements, and brings out their inherent, almost mystic harmony. The result of this process is an artistic synthesis, a unique spatial experience. By: ART+COM
